Alter Ego is a Townsville based band providing live entertainment to the North Queensland region.
The duo uses no backing recordings or equipment instead relying on drums and acoustic guitar to provide a totally live acoustic sound. The duo comprises Brett Whitbread on drums and vocals and Daniel Neilsen on acoustic guitar and vocals and plays a variety of covers that would suit most venues or functions.

I would like to thank you both for an excellent performance for our Norqeb Social Club Gala Ball now know as the SociaLights Club on Saturday night. I really enjoyed the variety of music you guys preformed and the fact that you catered for the crowd and were open to any requests. I found that you both were very professional and great entertainers with a pleasing attitude.
It was money well spent and you will be recommended.
